Mission
Foresti Suardi was founded in 1961. In those years, around Lake Iseo, the determination of men and women who finally saw the prospect of building a future in their own land, after years of emigration, allowed the birth of the first productive plants. Sixty years ago in Predore, Luigi Foresti and Lino Suardi, two brothers-in-law, installed the first machinery: a press and a brass furnace. The same year, they started their business as subcontractors. The proximity to the most prestigious shipyards made the two partners realize the opportunity to create something revolutionary: a forge for the mass production of accessories for pleasure boating. The production processes based on craftsmanship were gradually integrated with industrial technologies, leading to mass production. Sixty years have passed; the family has grown, and the most modern CNC machines support the expertise of our craftsmen. Foresti Suardi’s attention to the market, innovation, and the value of Made in Italy has remained the same.
A family
The Lake Iseo area is a region of craftsmanship recognized worldwide. In the heart of the district, in Predore, Foresti Suardi was founded in 1961. The commitment and expertise of a family has evolved towards industrial excellence, throughout more than half a century and three generations: one of the few real foundries has become a forge of ideas and cradle of new creative and productive
processes, a benchmark for the supply of nautical accessories and more.
Today, thanks to new plant in Adro, the research and passion which made Foresti Suardi outstanding are on stage also at the heart of Franciacorta district. In 2001, the acquisition of Azur Inox Marine, based in Saint Raphael (France) allowed Foresti Suardi to make a stand on French market of premium Made in Italy goods, through one of its more prestigious dealers.
Italian excellence
In 2019, Foresti Suardi has obtained the prestigious 100% Made in Italy, certificate released by the Institute for Italian manufacturers’ protection and reserved to outstanding firms. Specifically, the productive processes must be entirely planned and carried out in Italy; products must be made of natural and high-quality materials and based on typical craftsmanship; finally, working rights, safety and hygiene must be respected. Foresti Suardi is proud to have its own role in representing Italian excellence worldwide.
Iseo Lake
The Lake Iseo area is the cradle of craftsmanship known worldwide; here, a deeply rooted culture of working merges with the inspiration of a magnificent land, transforming simple work into passionate and vibrant creations.
