The Foundry

Production remains the core of the facilities, where operators, selected for their skills and experience, are divided into departments specializing in different processing stages: the mechanics department creates molds and tools, which are used in the foundry department to melt and inject brass, which is then finished and processed in the machining department equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machinery. From here, the final piece emerges, which will subsequently be polished and given galvanic coatings by external craftsmen and, once back in the company, assembled and packaged. Continuous and thorough research on other materials, such as aluminum and stainless steel, has today brought Foresti Suardi to excellence in these processes as well.

Craftsmanship quality

The transfer of the production department to the modern headquarters in Adro, Franciacorta, has allowed our already experienced workers to optimize the control of the manufacturing processes. This has increased efficiency and maintains the extraordinary quality of individually forged pieces. This move had delivered more space for assembly, cutting-edge modern machinery and more time for finishing and checking the pieces, for an unparalleled result.

Custom made

Customers’ requests are numerous and varied: in Foresti Suardi, the value added is a flexibility made of apparels and operators, able to carry out production according to the knowledge of history, taste and specific needs of the customer. Our technical department also works with each shipyard professionals, to produce accessories from their own design. Assistance and complete disposability are granted, from the design to the after-sales stage. The chance to choose from a wide range of custom products, from accessories to taps, from lighting elements to furnitures goes together with the serenity of dealing with a dedicated service, before, during and after the purchase.

Laboratory Test

A team of technicians virtually simulates and intensifies the projected environment in which the products will be placed to measure the behaviour and any sideeffects. Salt spray, mechanical shocks, electrical stresses and other intensive treatments replicate, in a few hours, the effects of tens of years of operation on the structures and fittings.

The ASTM B117 salt spray test is intended to simulate severe conditions of corrosion and is used as a quality control for all products. Tests are performed for weeks and even months to ensure that the device can survive long-term exposure in the marine environment, without suffering harmful aesthetic or functional consequences. Thanks also to the experience of working with coastal and nautical installations, gained over the years, we can provide products that can be defined as “ETERNAL”.
